A glittering professional's career can conceal many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, the winner of both USA championships as well as the World Champion in hurdles was able to achieve her place with much effort and an immense amount of perseverance. Jones grew up with an extremely difficult and hardship-filled life as the child of an unwed mom with five children. Her mother was always on the move and even lived in the basement of a church for some duration. Jones had to be moved to another school every during her high school years because of this nomadic existence. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones resided apart from her mother to pursue her passion for the track and field events. Jones was part of four families during her time at high school in order study at one location. Jones was part of the Orchestra of Iowa as well as the Gatorade Track and Field Award. She also won this award in the school. As she began college, Jones proved to be one of the top hurdlers. Jones was the winner of the 100 meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She was also an athlete that finished second in the 100 meter relay. Jones is a champion of hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships in both 2003 and 2004. Jones began training in 2005 when she graduated from her education. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South Africa. Her family moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress born in Cape Town on 2nd of December 1981. She's a very talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt moved along with her family and friends into Auckland New Zealand in 1999. The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt was initially an employee in the retail sector, and later was upgraded to IT Management Consultant. After a few modelling projects, Lesley appeared in many commercials. She earned her degree with a specialization in acting in 2008. Then in 2009, she started studying in Meisner methods of study. Lesley's debut prominent role with New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street as a second actor. Then she appeared on a sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life which was based upon Waimoana, a fictional city. Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
