Samantha Mohr

Participating in her first pageant on the suggestion of another fellow UGA students, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. Mohr was then eligible to take part in The Miss Georgia pageant, which took place June 1985. Mohr claimed the crown on Saturday, June 22 on the 22nd of June in 1985. More than $3500 was presented Mohr with a scholarship in addition to other prizes. She was Miss Georgia and also made appearances in public across Georgia in the course of her duty. Mohr participated as Georgia in Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September 1985. Mohr had a 22-to-1 chance to win the Miss America title. Computer simulations proved accurate in predicting Susan Akin's success. Mohr wasn't a top 10 finalist for the national crown. Mohr's time in the role of Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
