Geena Davis

Geena Davis is an acclaimed American actress, producer, writer and women's rights activist. Beyond her numerous characters in Hollywood and on television, she has also received critical acclaim for her roles in televisions serials of all genres. In addition, she worked as a model before she became a film actress. She's been studying the playing the flute and piano since childhood because of her love for music. She played organ at Wareham Church. She relocated into New York City after graduating from Boston University with a degree in the field of drama. After many struggles in the beginning, she was eventually working odd jobs, and working on other jobs before finally receiving her breakthrough. Modeling was her profession for a long time before she made her film debut with 'Tootsie. The film was made in the year 1982. The actress also starred in a number of Television serials and later had a very successful acting career as well as winning the Oscar Award for her movie "The Accidental Tourist".
